I thought this was amazing. My friend wrote this in about fifteen minutes! It's beautiful. =D
How fairest be thy darling love to me,
As the languid years forever go by,
There’s naught one besides you who is lovely,
And will stand next to me until I die:
How swift my heart doth beats in your favor,
Though long ago our hearts were juvenile,
Those beats speak’st my spirit naught to waiver,
For thy heart has been mine all the while:
When thou art away from me, out of sight,
My infatuated wits still find you,
When I have departed in sleep for the night,
Mine eyes perceive the visage that is you:
My love in thy bosom forever yours,
Shall accompany you on sandy shores
It's the same imitation exercise that I had to do, but she did hers on a Shakespearean (sp?) sonnet.
