"I know you. I've seen you in a dream; an old familiar scene from somewhere. And you know me; there's a glowing in your eyes, I know and recognize from somewhere..."
My room melts around me, allowing to be filled with darkness. I strain my eyes to see where I am, but I already know. I've been here a thousand times before. My eyes close as a small sliver of light appears. It lines the horizon at the far end, growing until it encompasses my whole being. I open my eyes, finding myself in an all too familiar and yet unfamiliar room. It's walls made of limestone, towering a hundred feet above me. Columns loom over me, being cast in the light of the moon. The imbedded jewels glinting a strange blue-gold color. Black and blue skies dotted by stars stretched for miles outside of my long and narrow window. The image of a woman suddenly appeared in my sight. A smile lit up my face as she walked toward me. I felt like a kid again; when the only thing I had to worry about were cooties and monsters under my bed. She stood a foot away from me, an unseen force holding her back. Her sun-kissed skin was illuminated by the moon, causing the kohl around her dark brown eyes to shimmer. Her red-dyed hair fell around her slender face as she leaned forward. She smiled at me, such a familiar and yet an unfamiliar sight. Another image appeared directly behind her. His figure stern, but gentle, while his green eyes swarm with such love. Slowly, the low hum of her voice filled my senses. Soon joined in by the harmony of her husband. It's tune so familiar, like a long, forgotten memory. My eyes begin to close. Their voices echoing in my mind as I drift off to dream of things forgotten...
"Those Voices reaching out. La la la la la..."
*The song at the beginning and end is by Darren Criss and is from A Very Potter Sequel. It is absolutely beautiful and sad (the song; the whole musical is just a riot =D)*
*Not my best work but it's 2 in the morning and I couldn't sleep. So sue me =P*
